Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, influence, and develop our data infrastructure from scratch.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines, continually improving performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to boost efficiency, letting the team focus on innovation and growth.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • Solid understanding of data architecture principles for modern Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
  • Deep expertise in ETL/ELT processes and scalable data pipeline creation.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow / Prefect or other orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in dbt/Dataform for data transformation and modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills across different database systems.
  • Advanced Python skills, with exposure to PySpark or similar frameworks.
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and access management.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and proficiency in query, pipeline, and data infrastructure optimization.
  • Comfortable communicating in English and Ukrainian.

Will Be a Plus:

  • Have worked with real-time data processing technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).
  • Are familiar with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Have experience in high-load distributed systems.
  • Understand cost optimization for big data in the cloud.
  • Have a strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
