Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Deep understanding of game mechanics and how different gameplay elements interact to shape player experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze game systems, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
  • Project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile games market, especially within the puzzle genre.
  • Understanding of how to operate and support multiple live games simultaneously.
  • Experience with a data-informed approach to decision-making: using analytics while balancing creativity and product intuition.
  • Ability to build hypotheses, design experiments, and interpret results.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate teams, communicate strategy transparently, and take ownership of product direction.
  • Fluent Ukrainian and Advanced English are required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select game ideas from an existing concept pool or independently generate ideas for new games, primarily within the puzzle genre.
  • Apply a data-informed approach to product decisions by combining analytics, common sense, and creative thinking.
  • Build hypotheses based on available data and design product experiments to validate them.
  • Demonstrate leadership within the team by clearly communicating successes, failures, and product strategy while motivating the team toward shared goals.
  • Continuously conduct macro market analysis, monitor competitors, and research target audiences to stay ahead of trends and apply insights to products.
  • Track and analyze KPIs for products within the area of responsibility.
  • Define and maintain product quality standards while promoting a strong player-first culture inside the team.
  • Balance player needs with business objectives when making product decisions.
  • Ensure production processes align with business goals and operational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing department to maintain consistency between product and creative marketing strategy.
  • Stay informed about marketing performance, campaign efficiency, budgets, and metrics, and use these insights to adjust product strategy and backlog priorities.
